connect to eduSTAR Wireless network
Chromebook
- Select the "eduSTAR" Wi-Fi network.
- • Change the "EAP method" to "PEAP" in the drop-down menu.
- • Change the "EAP Phase 2 authentication" to "MSCHAPv2" in the drop-down menu.
- • Change the "Server CA Certificate" to "Do not check" in the drop-down menu.
- • In the "Identify" field, type in your wrc account username e.g., TIM0022
- • In the "Password" field, type your WRC account password.
- • Leave the "Anonymous Identity" field blank.
- • Leave "Save Identity and password" checked.
Press “Connect”
Press Accept and Continue to Google’s Terms of Service
Navigate to the bottom right of the screen, press the Wifi icon
Press the gears on the eduSTAR network (now connected)
Proxy options should appear in the popup dialog
Setting up a new Chromebook laptop

Start the laptop and follow the Google setup wizard prompts.

Sign in with or create a personal Gmail account e.g. johnsmith@gmail.com.

Once setup is complete, install the Intune Company Portal app from the Google Play Store.
Do not sign in to the Intune Company Portal app. This will be done on the first day of school.

Bookmark and/or set the browser (edge recommended) home page to the Student Dashboard.
